Ginger Tea

Put water on to boil.  Cut off an inch from a piece of organic ginger root.  Gently slice off the outer skin (some people scrape it off with the edge of a spoon), then slice it into thin pieces.  Put the ginger in an infuser, put the infuser in your favorite mug, then cover the ginger with a mug full of steamy-hot water.  Cover the mug with a plate and let it steep for 10-15 minutes.  This tea is helpful for digestion and it reduces inflammation in the body.  It’s just plain invigorating on a cold winter day. :)
