My friend tried this raw chocolate mousse at an event called Earth Fare. Julie said, “The gRAWnola guy was doing a “cooking” demo although, of course, there is no cooking required and he let me scrape the bowl. This recipe is beyond yum.”
- 3/4 cup dates soaked until very soft with pits removed
- 2 avocados
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 3/4 cup cacao powder
- 1/2 cup agave
Combine all ingredients in a food processor until very smooth.
(I used my blender and it had to work really hard. Perhaps blending the dates with the almond milk first, then adding the other items would make it easier.)
Yield: 4 cups
